Upgrading from Version 4 to ESP 5
The following items have been developed to help ease your transition from Version 4 to ESP 5 and should be reviewed before you begin using ESP 5. If you have any questions or if you require assistance with this process contact us by phone or e-mail.
When you convert your data from
Version 4 to ESP 5, the Version 4 DOS data is not removed from your computer
so you will still have full access to Version 4. We recommend that you run both
Version 4 and ESP 5 until you are completely familiar with ESP 5.
Upgrade guide
The upgrade guide is a PDF* document that walks you through converting your data and will help you become familiar with ESP 5.
This document is installed automatically on your computer when you run the SetupESP.exe program file in the same folder that you saved the program in. You can open this from the START menu.

Upgrade tutorial
The upgrade tutorial is for our customers upgrading from Version 4. This 30-minute tutorial should be viewed before you begin using ESP 5 as it walks you through the essential features of ESP 5.
Specifically, the tutorial will:
- walk you through the steps of preparing your first schedule using ESP 5,
- show you how to find the features you were familiar with in Version 4, and
- highlight the new features and improvements built into ESP 5.
Select the upgrade tutorial link below and when prompted choose to Save the file to your windows desktop.
When you are ready to view the tutorial, go to the Windows desktop and double click the shortcut ESP_upgrade_tutorial.pps and the tutorial will begin. If you have trouble viewing this presentation, download PowerPoint Viewer.
