To speed up service, if you are calling our support hotline, be sure that you are sitting in front of your computer and that it is turned on and ready before you call. Even for general questions about using ESP we suggest that you be at the computer with the program running before you call.
Schedule analysis service
Even if you don't have any obvious problems, why not take advantage of our Schedule Analysis service? This service is provided at no cost to all members of our annual SupportPlUS+ plan.
During this service we perform an in-depth analysis of your system set-up and review your data for problems. We generate dozens of schedules, testing many different variations, and then prepare a detailed report. The report outlines recommendations that you can use to improve your schedules and reduce the time it takes you to prepare your weekly schedule.
Using this service is easy. First, send your data file to us:
- by using the option in the program; on ESP's home form choose the toolbar option Help then Send data to ThoughtWorks; simply follow the prompts to send the data to us and then send us an e-mail message to let us know your have sent your data for review. In the message be sure to identify your location by name and number and to whom and where you would like the results returned to, or
- by compressing the file and attach it to the e-mail message by saving your data file to a compressed folder or compress the file using a file-compression utility such as WinZip and then send the file as an attachment to an e-mail message, identifying your location and to whom and where you would like the results returned to.
When we receive your data we reply to your message to let you know when the analysis will be completed, usually within one to two weeks.
During the review, we run our analysis and prepare a report if recommended changes. We then send you our results with our suggestions to help you generate a schedule closer to the one you post. When you receive the report, review it and make the recommended changes.
Because we do not change your data file, when you receive our report,
you can choose to make all the recommended changes or choose
to make only some of the changes. This also helps you to understand why the
changes are suggested and how they will improve scheduling in your
location.
